ASSESSMENT CENTER OF TARRANT COUNTY

The Assessment Center of Tarrant County is a 24 hour, 40-bed facility that provides a safe, nurturing, and temporary home for children (ages 0-17) placed in the care of Children’s Protective Services. CCFW collaborates with CPS to recommend appropriate placements for children.

While at the Assessment Center, children receive medical, dental, psychological, educational, recreational, and psychiatric services in a healing environment. In addition to the care provided by CCFW, we have a group of committed volunteers who provide activities to the children. Activities include bingo, Bible study, music lessons, arts and crafts, and field trips.

The Assessment Center of Tarrant County is funded in part by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.
